I have been making documentaries around the world for more than two decades, in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent. I specialise in access-driven, character-led narratives and have made several long-term documentaries, one-offs and series, which follow stories as they unfold.

I have recently completed 'The Commandant's Shadow', a feature length documentary which explores transgenerational trauma and brings together the son of the Commandant of Auschwitz and a survivor, and their children in an unusual and unexpected way. The film was acquired by Warner Bros. Pictures and HBO Films and had its world premiere is in New York on 22nd May 2024. It has since been shown widely in cinemas in the US, the UK, Germany, Israel and is also available to stream on Max.

Other projects I have worked on over the past few years include a series on the current war in Ukraine (ZDF/ France 5), a documentary on the geoglyphs in Peru's Southern desert and the cultures that made them (PBS), a six part series on the sometimes uneasy co-existence between humans and wildlife in Patagonia's most remote corners (CNN) and a look into the murky world of the Sicilian mafia in Sicily (Netflix).

I have just finished making two films on the 7th October massacre in Israel and the Hostage crisis for ZDF. Among the projects I'm developing through my company, Electra Films, are a very unusual story true crime documentary in Poland., an international political thriller and the personal story of a friend who is trying to piece together his father's story.

I have German, Argentine and British citizenship, a valid US I Visa and speak Spanish, German, French, Italian and Portuguese.
